DURABILITY
Inflatables are prone for discoloration, punctures & deflation and have a quite limited lifespan.
UP Boats Tenders are build the same way as large boats & yachts, impossible to sink and will literally be the last tender you'll ever buy.
PASSENGER & STORAGE SPACE
Inflatables have limited storage options as the air filled tubes are 'lost space' which results in less passenger capacity over an equal sized rigid tender. Fuel tanks often don't have a dedicated place.
UP Boats offer spacious storage bags and a quick access bow pocket under the gunwales. The fuel tank & starter battery are safely mounted inside the stern extensions. Overall our tenders offer more than 2x interior volume for storage.
COMFORT & SAFETY
Boarding from your boat or the dock & sitting on the round tubes of an inflatable is sketchy and poses a safety risk.
UP Boats tenders have wide & flat gunwales that are completely covered in non skid decking which makes boarding a breeze. While seated, passengers can safely hold onto the grips or the inside edge of the tender.
WEIGHT
Inflatables (RIBs) with aluminum or fiberglass hulls are very heavy, especially when equipped with side & center consoles. Pulling a 340 RIB boat on or off a beach is mostly impossible for 1 or 2 people without help.
UP Boats tenders are all build from ultralight yet very strong carbon fiber composite, which makes it very easy for a single person to beach the boats. The weight savings also enable you to pick a lighter outboard with less hp while achieving the same performance.
